You have some great lines in these various blog posts, but i think they would be more effective if you didn't react to them (sometimes even by mugging). You often seem embarrassed by what you say, which makes the audience uncomfortable. It might help to have a persona, like a professor who is convinced of the truth in what he's saying. Perhaps you should even say that, although you are not our president, you really should be, because your ideas are so right and good for everyone. The humor would come from your deeply felt belief in what seems utterly ridiculous to the audience.
